Guest jason Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 Update 11th June 2007 The one-loft birds have been let out at 9.05am (when I get back from dropping kids off at school) every morning, they range for around an hour, then as soon as they land they're called in as I don't want them picking up bad habits by sitting on the house roof. the birds are then let out again at 3.45pm and do just the same as above. The birds are in great condition now, we did have a touch of young bird sickness but 7 days on Nyfuramycin soon sorted that out. as I say the birds are doing great, we was going to start training them this morning, but the weather put paid to it with low cloud and thick mist. our computer has now been fixed,so everything will be back to normal as regards the webcam at the weekend. I'll start adding more regular updates as we will be starting training over the next day or so. updates can be seen here, or at carrhouselofts.piczo.com (click on the one-loft race) if anyone has any questions about our one-loft race, feel free to e-mail me at carrhouselofts@aol.com or you can pm me right here on the pigeonbasics forum or the pigeonchat forum. cheers jason
Guest jason Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 I've received a question, can anyone come and watch the one-loft birds on the race days? Answer......yes they can but there's only room for around 20 people so it will be first come first served so we'd rather you let us know your coming to watch. snacks and beverages will be available. jason
