yes Ronnie I agree, after having a week off he is in fine feather he was left out of last weeks race because he retuned from the first race 3 days late and was under weight, but now he's bounced back and looks fab.

Hi Jason

My bird has won the last 3 training tosses. Do they land together and he beats them on the trap or does he beat the others on the way home?

Ps keep up the good work your doing a great job with the updates on your web site..

Jeremy..

hi Jeremy, it varies sometimes1, 2 or 3 will arrive first or they will all arrive together but yes, its normally all down to how they trap......some start doing a 'lap of honour' where they just fly round loft on return, while some will drop out of the sky like bullets on to the landing board.

thanks for the comments

This has been a great idea Jason, do you think you will repeat it again next year ?

Posted

yes tammy the plan is to do it again next year but with a few minor differences (nothing set in stone yet) but we were thinking of more birds and a higher prize fund.

Once we get this season over with I'll post up some details then we'll see how demand is for entry.
