sapper756 Posted July 1 Report Posted July 1 Copied from Facebook Catherine Cooper 🗣️ Racing with the NFC from Sigogone we clocked a yearling chequer cock to win 3rd and another 4 seconds later to win 4th section G. They have previously this season flown Alencon, Fougeres, Nord Sur Erdre then into Sigogone. The first is bred down from, Wollongong (4 x in the pedigree) George, Farmer George, Ivy, Invictus, Darren, Armando and Sumerian Fighter, all top bloodlines. Our second bird, clocked just 4 seconds after was again a yearling cock, he is out of Darkie and Lady of the Night who are breeding some really good racers for us. They were raced round-about paired at the end of January. We had good returns from this race, clocking 10/11 birds and they returned in good condition.
sapper756 Posted July 2 Author Report Posted July 2 Agen International was flown last weekend, it was a hard race for the West Country. We were 3rd section 24th National. We clocked a 2 year old chequer hen who this season has flown Vire, Alencon, Fougeres, St Philbert then into Agen. She is a half sister (same Dam) to Farm Grafter, who was an excellent racer and is now in the stock loft, this was a good decision as nearly all our top performers this year have Grafter’s bloodlines. The sire of this hen is inbred to Silke of Jelle Jellema.
sapper756 Posted July 3 Author Report Posted July 3 We clocked a three year old inbred grandson of Farmer George called Farm Grafter to win 2nd CSCFC and 3rd BBC National from Elgin 440 miles. He also has the bloodlines of Wollongong, New Laureaat, Special One and Kliene Jade. He is called Farm Grafter as he is the type of pigeon that will keep working no matter how hard the conditions are. His last race was two weeks ago from the hard Berwick race with the BICC where he was 2nd section. We were confident of clocking him from Elgin, although the race was much harder than we anticipated. He looked very well when he landed, keen to get into his box with his hen. He has previously scored in the section and open from Pau in the International race, a very dependable pigeon.
