The President has asked me to convey the following Defra information received from the RPRA this morning.

Reference Bid Flu outbreaks.

Unfortunately, any loft within the 3km and 10km zones will not be able to train or race but they can let their birds out for exercise for up to one hour per day. If a club headquarters is within the zones they must move outside of the zone until it is lifted for members outside of the zones to continue competing. It is within the general licence record keeping requirement that stipulates all lofts within a zone must not attend the bird gathering.

A period of 30 days is the average length of time it takes to complete the procedures, the first to lift is the 3km followed by the 10km a week or so after.
