Everyone has there own experiences, but i would recommend blakes to anyone, iv'e had five now due to house moves never had a problem. these are my latest two could not be happier.

I've been very happy with my Blake's loft.  I think you have to accept that some additional waterproofing is neccessary with any loft, to make it watertight, especially on the corners, and is not neccessarily due to poor workmanship.  Driving rain is very difficult to keep out of any wooden structure.  I find a couple of tubes of waterproof external silicone a great help.

dont buy a blakes unless your going to keep ducks in it ..trust me ive just bought one and every time i get driving rain from the east it floods in every compartment... :( :( :( :( :(

 

I get that with our garden sheds. The bottom shiplap begins to curl outwards. I think it might be the treatment they use.
