Now that the show season is upon us, what preparation, if any, do memebers do before selecting their birds?

this is one for Chrissy, and there is a lot of preparation selecting them and getting them ready, we spend a few hours the night before the show and they get a check first thing in the morning and a final check before they go in a pen

When people ask how to clean the birds ready for a show theres a very simple answer, don't let them get dirty in the first place!

very easy,if I could keep white German Double Crested Trumpeters spotless then any breed can be kept clean.Individual pens, plenty of shavings and a block to perch on.All depends on how much work you are prepared to do!

we catch ours 40 mins before the show and clean the ring,, thats it,, taking part is the most important thing..lol..

only entered 4 shows so far due to feeling unwell.. but won 1 x 1st.. lol..

phil I might be up later with my herman,, is it a handling class or through the wires.. she is out every day,, so not sure what condition she is in now..
