Guest Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 met a few today , Bakes ,spoke with Wayne 77 (at the bar ,as usual) didnt spot Pigeonpete ? ?? and around 40 others so had a great chat with many ,had a young lad come with us in convoy he now has 4 birds and the promise of (at least 6 ybs ) for next year. andy.

PigeonPete was there, was speaking to him for a while, nice sort, nice to see his son keen on pigeons as well. Not a bad show, some good birds on auction.

Just answered above mate, from the first dozen or so and the fact number 9 went for over £400 notes, nearer £500 but wasn't paying attention as someone farted and I needed to get away from stink.. I'd say though the average of the first dozen were on the £160 - £200 mark.

And then people moan when you put birdage up by 2 pence a pigeon :-) ;D ;D ;D
