allthough, not a lot of help,,, a, mr george dawes [cant even remember where from]  had , or still has,  a great small stud, containing all the best lines of the old kirkpatrick family , i know for a fact he purchased direct offspring of many kirkpatrick nat winners ,

maybe someone who has heard or known him   could help ,

Grizzles usually moult out progressively darker each year.

We have a Grizzle Family and the Orignals all go back to Andra Deans of Bothwells Ref G which we purchased at his 1st Sale .They are  no good for club racing but when the tough gets going and the velocities are below 1000 they come  on.

hi I got my birds from oldyellow 10 yrs ago and have kept them as a family with the odd cross, I have only flown yb this year due to house move, I have raced 28 darkness ybs 14 birds have won 18 cards in the first 6 in club, plus fed positions,

normaly other way round tend ot get more black specks when  moulted
