Try looking at dog water bowls in your local pet shop.

 

Ceramic or glazed drinkers are used so that any additives, particularly iron sulphate are not contaminated.

the best bowl to use is ones made from silver if you can get them  at  jumble sales, old teapots  cut  them  in half, as no bacteria lives in a silver bowl always sterile
