Breed you own racing hen  crossed male pouter = horseman

are horsemans not a pure breed in their own right ? why are they called horsemans and are they an ornamental type ?

A friend of mine used to have these and as far as I remember they are a working breed popular in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Fly birds against each other to see who can get the other bird into their lofts. These birds are bred to fly and range then entice the stranger with their charms, hence the cross between pouter and homer.  Good question re why they are called horseman? Hopefully will be answered here.
