velvets are solid black where as the other blacks are realy dark chequers

never seen dark been  described as a true colour the nearest you get is black

heres my point............

so a red/mealy is brown then???

and a blue is grey and black???

 

its a dark, not black........if you purchased blacks and got sent dark uns, you would'nt be impressed would you??

Your grizzle looks like the not so common sort of TIGER grizzle which is different to the usual grizzle we see. What type of breed is it?
