Ferrets

Is there anyone in Stoke on Trent/Congleton area know of anyone who has or will have any ferrets available?

unfortunately , not from that area, but when my" jill" ferret [female] goes into season, and has young, youd be more than welcome to a couple

You would be lucky to get decent working ferrets this time of the year. we have 8 and work them solidly till end of Feb

or early March depending on the weather. You could try your local free adds (addmart?) paper, but my advice would be to wait till summer and get some youngsters. At least that way you know what youve got!

ive got 5 here 3 are going, sons hobby dissapeared soon as he found the opposite sex a better hobby,ive had ferrets/dogs most of my life.brought up as a kid rabbiting.

this happens for a few year ok just a different kind of hunting urban hunting we used to call it  ;D ;D ;D

Same happened here when my son went "urban hunting". We were left with ferrets. Now settled down with a young daughter he has returned to ferrets and is a agricultural pest controller. I myself was brought up rabbitting/hunting with dogs (lurchers and terriers) and ferrets. Brought my kids up the same and ferrets/dogs/pigeons certainly kept them out of trouble. Also teaches them respect for all animals and birds.(as well as well fed!!!!).
