Can anybody help me?

My man is down the loft 24/7, would like to be there with him so i'm looking at aquiring finches, canaries or diamond doves, can anybody give me any info, how to keep these and do they need any treatments, and where i can get them from in my area. Been on bird trader, would like to go to a small bird fancier to find out a bit more.  ;):)

There are a couple of bird sales in South Wales, 1 Nr Usk and 1 in Port Talbot, you can have a look and prob talk to some local breeders.
