Jim Breaks Posted May 16, 2023 Report Share Posted May 16, 2023 pigeons ae becoming impossible to keep in this day and age .. had two hens died since january two hens ill and one at present . had ten eggs eight hatched one died in the nest then i had to despatch two at thirty days old ,four of the young were perfect . i only have twenty i clean them every day give them fresh water ,they get out every day for and hour or so , i pmv them give them 4+1 and look after them . i keep them more as pets i dont race or show them did once but not now . had them since 1976 . as i say every year its a new disease and its takes the joy out of keeping them one i looked forward to seeing them now its not fun no more Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is no doubt that it's a challenge trying to keep pigeons healthy nowadays, particularly youngsters.
