pigeon Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 Hi people i am just letting any 1 who is starting up or looking 4 a new loft well 2 lofts in 2007 i will be selling my 2 lofts at the end of 2007 season they are blakes lofts and in good condition i would say ther 2 years old been well looked after and all sectional 1 loft is 16x6 and has 3 sections the left hand end is 6ft with dowlled front thn it has a middle section which is 4ft for my hens wid sliding door and the race side is 6ft wid all windows and slding door its apent roof and the other loft is a young bird loft which is 7x5 and its alovely little loft well its big inside to be honest lol it has a wood trp to match all the lofts and has a right hand side sliding door... here is a pic of the loft i wud b looking at offers but nuffin silly please people these lofts are in good condition and i will help to take dwn .....after 2007 seasonis over...as am lookign in to a new tild roof loft thanks for looking any ifno contact me on 07749006120...
Guest shadow Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 Why sell them for the sake of putting one up with tiled roofs may look a little more pleasing to the eye will not make your birds fly any better, if you are flying well to your present set up I would leave well alone. pigeons are happy anywhere dry, clean and well fed. they do not need a palace
jupiter_19630 Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 I agree. The lofts look to be in very good condition and very smart. Don't change your set up just for the sake of it. Your pigeon could'nt give a monkeys if the roof is covered with felt or tiles, just as long as its waterproof.
pigeonscout Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 My loft had a tiled roof and I changed it to flat roof and I find it much better. Under the tiles gets very dusty and not easy to clean.

I would get it from someone that will put it on for you as it can be tricky trying to lay it on contact glue. http://www.diyroofing.com/ There are lots of people do it.
