Hi everyone.
My father, Ivor Russell of Worcester tragically passed away last week. My Dad started The Worcester Hi-Fly Pigeon Club back in the ‘60’s, from a little pub called The Anchor at Diglis. He had been involved with keeping Birmingham rollers since his teens and the popularity spread across Worcester like wild-fire. Soon the club needed bigger venues and eventually my Dad bred a Champion Blue Chequered Badge. He was often judging shows all over, accompanied by me with my little white coat.

My Dad battled illness since 1979 but was always such a devoted pigeon fan. Sadly I think that few of his old friends remain and I wonder if anybody remembered the Worcester Club.
RIP Dad xxx
