His lofts were based in Dartford. He called his team of birds "The Spitfires", which I think came from him being a member of the RAF during war years. If I remember correctly, he flew north road, out to Thurso / Lerwick.
barry Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 I remember my dad buying some of frank back in 1976 and yea they were spitfires very good birds at the time , I remember one it was a red pied cock my favourite it won loads of first prizes And it’s favourite race point was Northallerton 250 miles to Brighton great memory’s
