swilcox Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Its rare for me to sell my own pigeons and many already know im a good selector of breeding stock and i top hype up the birds beyond what they are. I have a small but super team of Aarden from Raymond Moleveld which i believe to be utter class. I bred a small team this year due to a loft loctation but i did breed two a few young for stock mainly because i didnt have many hens. The following pigeon turned out a cock and its shagging its brains out in the hens section so im going to offer it for sell with a gaurentee if its doesnt bred long distance winners i will replace it. He is a Dark Cock and has a beutiful Golden Eye. His sire is a Son of Sylvester. His Dam is the only dtr of the lightenberg to come to this country. he is a full brother to 1st Club Ripon and 1st Club Leicster 2006. For sale at £100 delivered (he will breed a houseful of long distance pigeons for sure)
aarden Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 hiya stuart would just like to say you do a brilliant job of putting good pigeons on this forum for members ,BUT, is there anyway you could run at least a 24 hour auction to give every one a chance to view the birds before there sold, people who work shifts or are not online within a few miniutes of the birds going on sale dont get a chance. wayne
Guest pigeondave Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 hiya stuart. yes is there anyway you could do as above letter.and then we all get a chance.like aarden said its difficult sometimes.because i am on the look out for a decent cock. you could say best offer in 24 hours.and wait till the 24 hours is up.then we all get a bite at the cherry.only a suggestion mate. ps.by the way those hens i bought are coming on nicely now.
swilcox Posted October 26, 2006 Author Report Posted October 26, 2006 Point Taken Aarden. I havent done that as i didnt want to push prices above what i believe them to be worth!!!!! Maybe in the future i will think of something more suitable. Stuart
swilcox Posted October 26, 2006 Author Report Posted October 26, 2006 I bet they are!!!!! The other day i was looking for a Red Hen which has a dutch ring on and is bred from our best too Theelens in Holland, i guess it went in the box dave!!!! Its no problem but i suggest you breed a couple more youngsters from her!!!!!! She is very well bred. Good Luck Stuart
Guest pigeondave Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 yes shes here.looking very tidy now.but if youve put her in by mistake.you no your welcome to have her back mate.
swilcox Posted October 26, 2006 Author Report Posted October 26, 2006 No Problem Dave I hope she brings you success, the most important thing for me is to put good pigeons in good lofts and the future will take care of itself. Stuart P.S. The cheq hen from 2005 is also a bit specail!!!!
