Mike Lycett Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 I'd like to congratulate one of me mates on buying Lot 5. Stunning piece of purchasing & what a bargain too!! The parents of this hen are REALLY breeding the goods. How do I know? Simple... The "son" of Madgin & Son is me brother-in-law !!! Yeah Baby Yeah !! ;D ;D ;D
Roundo Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Hi Stuart, Did you manage to get a picture of Lot 3 ?? Roundo.
schouwman71 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 knew that hen would go quick,if i hadnt already got my hens i would have gone for her myself. Great hen.Les
swilcox Posted October 30, 2006 Author Report Posted October 30, 2006 In terms of performance breeding lot 1 and 2 are hard to beat.
schouwman71 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 still would have picked lot 5 first, she looks more classy and typical of the breed, looks to have a great eye from the pic aswell, well done to the buyer, hope she breeds the goods, and i think mike has a good eye for a pigeon aswell.
Roundo Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 Point of interest. In just two years breeding from a hen bred by Mike's brother-in-law when paired to a Gaby cock from Mike, they've produced three 1st prize winners for myself, plus other birds to score. Quality birds. I'm sure Lot 5 will breed the goods for the buyer. Roundo.
