PIGEON_MAN Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 I certainly dont disbelieve what you say about the birds but you say pair 3 are 2005 birds and that they have bred many channel winners fron 235 miles - 452 miles for yourself and others,as last year would of been their first year of breeding i take it that all the many winners are therfore only yearlings, just wondering how many you actually bred from them last year, and could you give me a bit more information about the winners.
COTTONHEAT Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Posted October 23, 2007 i bred 4 from them in 2006 & this year 1 was 1st club alencon & high up in the fed & combine 1 was 1st club tours 1 was 1st club tours for my mate on the south coast 1 was 1st club bergerac for my mate on the coast the week before the ban on channel racing
COTTONHEAT Posted October 24, 2007 Author Report Posted October 24, 2007 WE ARE MOVING TO A SMALLER HOUSE WITH A SMALLER GARDEN WHICH MEANS WE HAVE GOT TO HAVE A SMALLER LOFT SO WE ARE JUST TAKING THE YOUNG BIRD TEAM WITH US & WITH A HEAVY HEART WE HAVE GOT TO SELL THE STOCK BIRDS IF WE WASN'T MOVING THEY WOULD NOT BE SOLD SPECIALLY AT THAT PRICE
Guest Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 It has been brought to my attention that these birds are currently up for auction on Elimar. Cottonheat are these birds genuinley for sale now, or are you waiting the outcome of that auction? I.E. if you are offered the asking price are you able to sell or do you have to wait for the auction to finish?
PIGEON_MAN Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Could be something funny going on here as I emailed Cottonheat this morning to say I was interested in a pair and could he tell me where he was from as I may be able to pick them up,still havn,t heard anything and now i hear he was on another site bidding for other stock birds after what he put on here.Sorry COTTONHEAT if I have got this all wrong but it seems a bit odd to 2 or 3 of us on here.DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS FANCIER.
