as you can read here we would have to get permission from defra or animal welfare or a top vet as stated in the Netherlands

Yesterday and even today, the crisis line of the federal government EN was contacted by telephone

 

in the context of the welfare of our pigeons we get from now on

 

green light for individual training in Belgium only!

GO !!! Thank you to the competent services of Animal Welfare Flanders and Wallonia and to the

specialized vets!

 

We would like to make it clear that the permission to learn INDIVIDUALLY from now on is ONLY granted under “ANIMAL WELFARE†and NOT under the “SPORT†ie that the admission to individual training is not allowed to present itself. Prepare for the upcoming races, but this is reflected in the fact that pigeons that are not trained lose their ability to orient themselves and would not find their way back to the loft afterwards.

 

The KBDB asks the fanciers to learn as much as possible in the morning and at a maximum distance of +/- 25 kilometers so that the fanciers, who let their pigeons out in the loft, would not suffer too great losses. Only in exceptional cases (people who work, social workers, ...) may training be done at a different time.

 

Positive news was also received from France. There they relax
