WEST OF ENGLAND SR COMBINE GRAND PHONE IN AUCTION

The Mighty West of England SR Combine would like to present a phone auction in aid of the transporter fund. Below you will find some of the best fanciers in the South West, United Kingdom and Europe. This includes 3 x 1st International, 2nd International, 3 x 1st Dutch National winners, 1st Belgium National, 7 x 1st Open NFC Winners, Classic Winners and some of the best the WOESRC has to offer. We have left it to March so that the birds offered come from there best breeders available.

PHONE IN AUCTION TO FINISH FROM THE 30th OF March

First we have some of the very best flyers in the West of England Combine, often against 7000 or more birds.

Lot 1 Mr. & Mrs. Alan Bedford, Bristol; Past winner of 1st NFC Nantes Alan is a super flyer and very well respected in the Bristol Area, he has won 1st , 2nd and 3rd WOESRC Combine on many occasions up to 8,000 birds, a young bird from the stock loft on offer from Houben and Janssen lines.

Lot 2 Mr. Chris Balson, Bristol; Balti Balson has proved over the last few years that he is always the man to beat on a Saturday. To add Chris has bred 100’s of winners from his Janssen De Klaks all over the UK. 250 x 1st won since 1990. Again something special from the stock Loft.

Lot 3 Mr. Alun Jones, Bristol; Alun has probably one of the smallest setups in the Combine but defies the odds every week with super results, many achieved with his small team of hens, Gaby and Janssen’s kept Alan races every pigeon from the first to the last race, runner up in the Combined Averages 2007. It will be a shrewd man who secures this one.

Lot 4 H Eades, Street; Hugh not only racers a top Combine Classic and National pigeon he has taken One Loft Racing by storm with his Outstanding performances in the RPRA One Loft. This Geerts, Van Den Bosch families are really super fast.

Lot 5 P Nurse, Somerset; Peter has been around winning top long distance prizes for years; this is a well tried and tested family that would add to any stock of pigeons. Peter has been a great servant to our sport over the years and has promised to donate only his best.

Next we have some of the most outstanding National and Classic flying lofts in the South West and UK.

Lot 6 N Templer Bristol One of the most up to date winning lofts in the UK, 1st Open National, 1st Open Classic and 1st Open Combine have been won in the last two season, choice of a Bosua, Van Loon or one of Nigel’s famous Janssen’s from the stock loft.

Lot 7 Mike Staddon Crewkerne, The name Staddon has been synonymous with Top National, Classic and Combine flying for more than 30 years winning many 1st Opens up to 9000 plus pigeons, this is a chance to get a quality yb from the best Mike Staddon can offer.

Lot 8 G G Cooper Peasdown St John. Geoff and Catherine Cooper have flown at the top of the National Prize List for well over two decades now winning 1st Classic and 1st National with the BICC, his family of Deweerdt and Vermote pigeons have not only won for them but have been responsible for 1st NFC Saintes, 1st NFC Pau and 2 x 2nd Open NFC Pau, again something special from the breeding loft is promised.

Lot 9 J D Staddon Somerset A new partnership in UK Distance racing but already they are reaching for the top with there Jos Thone and Gilbertson pigeons. In 2007 they won 1st Sect NFC Guernsey Old Hens 2007, 2nd Sec 125th Open NFC Tarbes 2007 547 Miles with a Yearling!! 1st Section 17th Open NFC Cholet with Lady Sumo and with Lady Caroline 60th Open BBC Carlisle, 21st Open Bergerac Classic & 1st Section 2nd Open Pau BICC Nat and 1st BICC Hens Nat Pau. Again a yb from the stock loft.

Lot 10 Gary Inkley Uxbridge, Known as Mr. National and Classic Gary is a fierce competitor with a list of honors to match, Gary has promised something super from the stock loft from His Enigma Family, 1st Classic Dax

Lot 11 Frank Tasker Frank is known by all and has won top races for decades, again Frank has promised something very special from his very successful families.

The following 3 Lots represent true distance diamonds, 2 x 1st NFC Pau 1 x 1st NFC Saintes and 1 x CSCFC Pau.

Lot 12 S V Miles, Peasdown St John. Sid and Val are amongst the most consistent 500 mile plus performers in the UK with there Pau NFC family based around Little Darling, 1st NFC Pau, Ashgrove King 1st NFC Pau and George Burgess National Winner, these are rarely available.

Lot 13 Harding Brothers Peasdown St John, The home of the Famous Ashgrove King 1st Open NFC Pau and breeder of many top performance pigeons, Gordon bred the g-mother of Morning Glory 2 x 2nd Open NFC Pau for Paul Kendal.

Lot 14 Stan Dangerfield, Stroud Again a super consistent National and Classic loft

and past NFC Open winner, Stan’s family has won in National and Classic races from 200 – 600 miles so this will be a dependent pigeon. Stan has promised the pick of the stock loft.

Now we present the Legends that have put the UK on the map, THE International winners.

Lot 15 Brian Sheppard, Trowbridge What more can be said about the Legend Maker, 1st International Dax, 2nd International Dax and too many section G wins to list, again this is a super opportunity to purchase a yb from one of this country’s true super stars, a yb from a top breeding guaranteed.

Lot 16 Mark Gilbert, Winkfield. Again 1st International Dax, 1st NFC Saintes/Pau and many more top performances, Mark has invested over the years in some of the best pigeons in Europe and now sits proudly at the head of the sport in the UK, Not to be missed this one.

Lot 17 Crowley and Green. Compton Bassett. This partnership makes the opposition quake when there on form 2nd International Dax, 1st 2nd 3rd Nat Bordeaux to mention just some of there performances, again Richard has pledged a youngster from his best in the breeding loft.

Next we would like to present in our opinion the pick of Belgium and Holland; these are the champions new and old.

Lot 18 Jos Thone, Belgium Well what an opportunity, Jos Thone pigeons are the most after around the globe and often change hands for thousands, this is your chance to buy something very special from Jos stock loft. Jos has promised it will be a brammer, Bid away boys.

Lot 19 Frans Zwols Gramsburgen These super fast Janssen pigeons are a little secret in Holland, but when for the first time they were raced in the UK 2007 12 ybs only were devastating, WOESRC ACE PIGEON, 7 top combine positions up to 5000birds from only 12. his results of the last two seasons reads Morlincourt: Nat 6th , 7th , 8th , 9 2.228b 1st 2nd 3rd – 9th Boxtel: 9.930b, 1st , 2nd , 3rd -7th Maaseik 2.250b, 2nd , 3rd , 4th Nat Duffel 20.119b, 2nd, 4th, 5th Duffel 18.613b, 2nd, 3rd, - 6th Boxtel 9.845b 1st – 6th Hasselt 1.553b 3rd, 4th, 7th Hasselt 21.426b 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th Massiek 19.913b 1st, 2nd, 3rd Heteren 4.238 duiven 3rd NAT Morlincourt 10.441b. What an opportunity for a late youngster from Frans best breeding pair.

Lot 20 Harm Vredeveld, Coaverdean Harm and Chantal are amongst the very elite of the world pigeons sport and im very proud to be able to bring you this offer; they won 1st and 2nd Nat 17,000 plus pigeons again in 2007. There loft contains such champions as Boy and Queen, Lucky Boy, Game Boy, Bandit Queen etc. This is a real chance to get a super yb from one of Europe’s best performing lofts.

Lot 21 Peter De Haan/Castricum/Verwiej, Holland, I’m often asked what is new name in Dutch Long Distance Racing well here they are. In the last too seasons there results have been breath taking and arguably they own the best long distance racer in Holland De Toon, his record reads 5th, 10th, 15th, 32nd and 48th National, a young bird will be offered from a sister of De Toon.

Finally we would like to present too fanciers that have won the biggest distance race in Europe, again a unique opportunity. 1st National St Vincent is the golden prize in Holland.

Lot 22 Raymond Moleveld Vreeland. Raymond is a well known in the UK and across Europe for his breathtaking performances at Long Distance, 1st Nat St Vincent 37,239b, 1st Nat Brive 7,700 birds etc plus 1st St Quentin 11,236b, 2nd Menen 28,000b. His Golden Aardens are taking the UK by storm so when I say he will be offering a ½ brother/sister to the Brive 1st Nat Brive you will appreciate the value of this lot. If its Night flyers you want then look no farther.

Lot 23 Jan Polder. Middelharnis, The Man from Middelharnis Jan Polder, has been a well-known name in pigeon racing for years, as far as overnight long-distance flights are concerned there isn’t anyone better, finally his dream was realized when Victoria won 1st Nat St Vincent 36,400b, it was no surprise she was 7th the year before. A very special Golden Aarden will be on offer.
