  1. Unikon and Benzing are constantly trying to meet the demands of the fanciers and to help make life easy for them in this modern age of technology. ETS clocks can time many pigeons in a few seconds and inputting all the different, ring on, ring off times and arrival information manually into a resulting package is an administration nightmare for those who are left to do it. Mistakes can happen, results are labour incentive and take considerable time to produce. To make it simple and at the touch of a button and to produce an unlimited number of pages pigeon result in a matter of minutes, both Unikon and Benzing supplied East Coast Software with the knowledge for them to enhance their resulting software to do this. Many clubs with all fanciers on ETS can now produce instant club results within 5 minutes.
  2. I beleive you may be referring to the FSS program from East Coast Software. This is a package for doing Club / Federation results. When you assign rings and data to ETS clocks use ONLY the manufacturers software supplied. i.e. Unikon with Unikon, Benzing with Benzing, Bricon with Bricon, etc.... Only use FSS to upload the fanciers race arrivals from the clocks AFTER you have evaluated their clocks through the clubsystem in the usual manner. DO NOT put all the pigeon detals / assign rings or Syncronise the clock using the FSS program. Otherwise, Yes you will wipe out ALL the data from the clock previously entered. I would strongly advise you use FSS for resulting purposes only and stick with the Unikon software which is designed for use with the clock for inputting data and assigning rings.
  3. Hi seems the Bricon Clubsystem prints all the information onto one line of the paper and doesn't spool the paper when you put any other clock into their Clubsystem. I think they know of this issue. Best to contact Mark Palmer - bricon.ets@live.com

  6. Chip can slide down the lugs either way, however it only clicks in one way round. http://www.homingpigeons.co.uk/pdf/Combiring.pdf
  7. I've heard talk about the other unions also introducing the Combi-ring same as the RPRA in 2011.
  8. Best not to fit the chip when the bird is sitting on eggs. Its possible to damage the eggs as the chip is rather bulky.
  9. Don't know what happened there. Sorry may have hit the post reply button twice??
  10. We supply the Benzing ETS combi chip that fit these rings and to honest they are not too clever. The Dutch boys last year experienced pigeons returning home from races without the chip. Watch when you are using them for racing as they can come off if knock from the bottom of the ring. I wonder who will be first to report a pigeon returning without its chip on the forum. We never learn, time will tell. http://www.homingpigeons.co.uk/benzing.htm

  13. Excellent program for Ayrshire, lets hope the weather is as good for them. Carnwath 43 miles to Kilwinning. I see all the batches going through okay after mines are in the loft.
