I've had, and still have, the bloodlines of Jan Theelans, direct via Stuart Wilcox, from this site, and a hen from Mr & Mr Clare amongst others. They weren't, and aren't, small birds what i've had of these lines. The main cock was medium to large in size actually. I know a partnership very well that have direct Luc Van Coppenolle's from his best, and these aren't small pigeons either. I've handled them, from over twenty birds i would say there are maybe three at the most that maybe could be described as small, but for me they are more medium sized pigeons imo, well balanced and quality, impressive birds, to me anyways. I've had smaller birds, some of the pieds & chequers in the Emerton family were quite petite, and the old grizzles of Jimmy Nic were quite small too.
