I would relate to the fact that when I had a motor bike I never got any problems with bugs, I was out in all weathers and I can remember a bad winter back about 1978 I travelled 20 miles every day in these conditions :-/
People think because they have a 4x4 they are safe but unless engaged into 4x4 and they are rear wheel drive which is a nightmare in the snow, front wheel drive is a lot better as you are pulling your way and the engine is on top of your drive as well. Sad to say these school run drivers don't have a clue how to use them or what weight they are trying to stop when they lose control
Cheers Pete, we have 4 of them that we got especially for Blackpool and other w/e. The container does not freeze quick but the bowl does. Nothing is standing up to this weather
We cut the legs on them to suit the birds as the are meant for chickens and added 2" mesh to stop the birds trying to bathe in them
Out everyday and all day and they just love it, our stock racing birds have access to and aviary 24/7 365 of the year and some choose to spend the night in it rather than the loft
Our dovecote birds are still breeding and rearing although glad to say they are not as prolific and we have some don't make it due to the elements of nature
Cheers Andy but indoor jobs are all I am doing just now, wood from the suppliers is saturated and freezing when they pressure treat it if they manage to get it done at all
