My husbands father kept pigeon when he died my husband and his brother took over. Now my two sons have pigeons ,they fly against there dad and uncle you should hear them when they get together. So i do think pigeon racing runs in families.

Has anyone been to Telford pigeon sale last year, and had to stay there for a night or weekend, if so did you stay in a lodge or boarding house. I'm looking for some where to stay for weekend not to dear. First time at this sale.

I close vents in the cold weather. My birds don't get out much in the winter month i put sand in the lofts so i clean them out once a week, and put fresh sand in. if it is a nice day with sunshine i let them out and let them have a bath. I wonder what they think now they are no exercising, just sitting about.

Hall and partner won from Durham. We were nowhere got all pigeons back though.

looking forward to Blackpool another weekend sharing my bedroom with a pigeon or two. Look forward to Blackpool tower evening too. Better entertainment than the clubs down there.

Has anyone had any bother with hawks this time of year ,as i have had 2 pigeons attact in the last 2 weeks. Race in Durham.

Had good race got up this morning might not get a race today. Liberated ten fortyfive (North Durham Combine) got first pigeon ten past three.We have three pigeons missing out of sixteen. I'm looking forward to the last race next week.

I had trouble with slow growing chicks i culled the chicks then treated the stock for canker then after that i had perfect chicks.

2 Races for me

The last two years our ybs were coming well. Did not win much but seconds or third i dont know whats happened this season they are not doing as good, but we always get them all back. :'(
