yeah know the feeling mate i lost a good grizzle hen to a hawk last week i am realy gutterd she did well for me in the yb racers this year.but it happens.a lot of guys round here where i live wont let the birds out now untill next march to save on the hawk atacks

could have dark check in the blood from way back,grand parents / perants/ext

ps. or i take to town and feed the street pigeons with it lol

yeah be fine if thats what you want to do.if i got any feed left over when its time to change i normaly chuck it and put them on the feed they normaly have at the time of season. mark barlby lofts

i have prisoner stock in winter i feed them on just barly and wheat then a good breeding mix in breeding season . well what i do i weigh it out to what each bird need per day.each feed if they leave any in the troth take it away,that way they cant keep going back to the troth a pick all day so should stay healthy. mark barlbylofts

sorry me again i ment to also say is that if the birds are ill then yeah take them back other wise all birds are rubbish untill they proove themselfs otherwise.hope i been a help mark barlbylofts@aol.com

if you not happy take them back and tell him that you have been advised by a fellow pigeon fancer that the birds are ill or not what you expected. its all i can say as we have not seen the birds to remark on them our selfs.

dont realy know to be honest.i had pigeons all my life.but i did have a 8 year brake from them due to work comitments,in my spair time then i played golf so if i didnt have the birds i would go back to golf i think but cant see me being without the birds again now i missed them a lot in the 8 years i didnt have them,why you ask you thinking of packing the game in lol mark barlbylofts

hi guys what you all feed your birds on through the winter months.in the parst mine ben fine on barly and wheat seems to keep them in good health till we start breeding again.

the only prob i have in the winter months is at the weekend when they to get out is the hawks always seem to lose a few then

lol yeah i have the same prob go to work its dark come home its dark so the only time they get out in winter is at weekends

i got busschaerts and most of them are my best birds do well long distance and mid

do you know the ring number or have it if so it will help you claim the bird back there and then.it also looks better for you to say the bird ring no and they know straight away you are telling the truth that the bird is yours .also you can tell the rpra or what ever union you belong to and then you just go and get it,its your bird and if you can proove it end of story.if it was me i would go and fetch it s.a.p

yeah these birds have been good in their time raced a few years back with my dad,we did well with them over channal so yeah mate the ok birds
