The reason is that this was my first season and I would really like to see the write ups and results for my club and I wasn't subscribed to either paper. I'm in agreement JADE. They deserve to go down because they are clearly greedy. Just back up, you'd think they'd be happy with mid table, spanking of sunderland and a win against chelsea in the carling cup. Frankly if i was a newcastle fan i would have been happy with one of those let alone all three! Get down.

Good for you for helping out. It isn't easy to catch a pigeon if you are inexperienced so well done. If it was eating and drinking it is a very good sign. If they don't show interest in eating and drinking then they are probably going to die, so rest easy. I'm sure the owner will be delighted. All the best

I lost a grizzle form a race inpeterborough last week and our club birds have ended up everywhere. However, it is a really light red grizzle, could the patches be a very light red or brown?

Yes they do, a fella I know lost 11 young birds because magpies attacked and scared them off. If it is an old bird it will be clever enough to avoid them. I think the magpies only really chase them for the feathers so they can build nests.

Hello all. My friend (a novice) has just had a bird reported at nottingham forest football ground. It is a youngster from saturdays bad race and it is injured. A woman found it and asked a security guard to get a box. He never returned so she has just put it in a bush!!! fox meat unless anyone in the area can help out please. you can call me on 07747401601 or 02088592317 my name is tony. The fella has done me so many favours and really doesn't know what to do so i'd love to pull this off for him. The woman will still be there if we can arrange it. sorry, i didn't ask for area as i decided to tell him to feed and release before i thought about seeking help on here! Not very helpful i know and i don't want to bother him again tonight. He's gonna ring before he lets go in the morning so i might ask him to hang on and find out exactly where he is. Do you know anyone who might help?

Hello, i have a young bird lost from peterborough saturday 24th. It was a hard race with many loses in the club and one of mine has ended up with a non fancier in birmingham. I've asked him to feed and chuck the bird up in the morning as it should have a tail wind but will contact him if anyone can bring it down from birmingham to london? If you are passing that way it would be really appreciated as I am a novice fancier with a modest setup. Many thanks, Tony
