234. Prior to racing all ETS clocks must be
brought to the club and set with the ETS
radio clock and struck off after 24 hours.
In the case of members wishing to use their ETS
elsewhere a certificate of worthiness
will be issued by the officials of the testing
organisation.

Ordered an ets system a few weeks ago.Still not received anything so after eventually getting through to someone(not easy trust me)ive been told ive got to fill in a club loan request form .Why was this not explained to me in the beginning? So rather than have all the hassle of trying to get hold of people to sign forms ive asked for a refund.
Seriously peed of just altered my shed for ets and basically due to people not answering there phone and other people not even having a proper email address ive been put of getting an ets.
I Know it sounds stupid but trying for near on two weeks to get phone answered in the end missus did it by email while i was at work then just get passed over to another rep by email has put me of maybe i will look at another system at blackpool.
Sorry for rant just needed to let a bit of steam of

Thanks a lot guy's i think it will be a trip to blackpool and see whats what.
-
Just to add must provide free club system as well ,as it looks like i will be only one on it to start.

Looking at getting ETS for next season and am wanting to get the most user friendly and cost effective system.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I'm sure there has been a topic similar to this but i cant find it so if anyone has a link to said topic that would be appreciated as well.
Just looking for peoples opinions and advice.
Thanks in advance
Ronnie.
Ps.To all those against ets its either that or stop racing because of work commitments .The missus will get em in but wont clock em for me.
Thanks again

Well done mate.
As for what other people say who's cares just noise's in the wind and as long as your happy keep doing what ya doing cos ya certainly doing something right.
-
Well started with 6 cocks and raced their hens as well on the channel .
Finished with 3 cocks and and only won one race with them but it was the two bird club from niort
also won niort in the club with a hen.
overall i didnt put the work in with the birds until the channel and i was lucky enough to get a win in the race i aimed for.
Next season its going to be more work from me and i expect to raise the bar a bit.
-
well i for one use it mate and its so much better then having to look around all the different pieces of paper(wich i also keep lol)
Breading season is when it comes into it own for me

going to be hard for them channel birds .
Still not liberated at Carteren and if they drop as low as 30 mile an hour its gonna be near on 9 hours for me and even harder for the guys further north.
Back to the question 34 mph inland birds i think the channelers will drop to 30mph
-
i would say 50/50 for us at carentan mate, have you sent? rain here tom afternoon i would say, but stongish sse winds.
Yes mate sent 6 cocks
sending my other cock and all my hens inland though.
-
Am i reading the wrong weather forcast?
Apart from wind the weather dont look to bad .
-
sending my 7 roundabout cocks and 3 natural hens.will send the 7 roundabout hens next week for there first race .
-
The subject needs to be earthed to get shocked.
-
if its AC it will pulse Ac=Alternating current. If its dc it will just shock ya Dc=direct current.Ac was introduced mainly to let people let go when they get shocked , first shock will cause a spasm and muscles will contract (grab hold) the current then alternates and forces the muscles to go the other way (let go).thats what i was led to believe not sure how accurate that is but its something along them lines.
thats for a household enviroment .The railway is completely different and i suppose battery chargers will be as well lol.
