  1. Hi debbie. The basket is an old BA cat basket but with the door missing (God knows where that went to). The plan is to throw a blnket over the door once he's inside. Luckily for him the cat is no longer with us although he has become friendly with our German Shepherd (who usually chases pigeons) Colin

  4. Hi Debbie, there has been an open basket near where he wanders for about 3 days and he is not interested. There is wild bird food in there and scattered all around. He enjoys the food but he shows no interest in entering the basket. As I write, he's flown off somewhere but this is not unusual and he'll no doubt be back later. Regards Colin
  5. Hi All I know nothing about pigeons so excuse my ignorance. A bird took up residence in our garden near Marlborough, Wiltshire last week. We have been unable to catch it but it can fly, seems healthy and quite content wandering around. On its wing is the number 710081. What does this signify? The ring on its right leg is red and on the left green with an orange panel. Anyone recognise him/her? Regards Colin
