Hi Coxy this is just an idear some of the members of the site are looking at, so nothing has been done yet it is still in the early stages. Think most of the members are in faviour of the idea, so hope it is not long before it is put in place. RAY

We start training our yb's at 5 mile's 3 times, Then move upto 10 miles 5 times Then out to 18 - 20 miles 15 plus times and we also like to see them come out of the crate's and head straight home, They are always out flying first thing in the morning for at least 1 hr. We are lucky that our club has its own transporter so we can have them on that at least 4-6 times before the 1st race. We basket train all our yb's from beeing weaned off. we have a spare creat that we place in the yb section on the floor and they go in and out of this as they want when we are sure all yb's are eating and drinking from the crate then we remove it from the loft, also we will basket the yb's over night before they go on to the club transporter. I Know of one partnership that raced all there birds on tic beans only, they did well on them winning over £2000 in prize money from sprint races all the way through to 600 miles. think they flew a form of roundabout. i tell you they took some beating and no they did not live in a favourable loft location. I can assure you i am not superman, but have had two birds on the same second at 13.37.03 from 105 mile's we had 12 drop together and only timed in two We use a sputnik trap with a back gate, caught two birds then put the rubbers into two thimbles then timed them in. RAY
