Dear all, I regretfully inform you all, that the P.O.B committee is no longer functioning. It was the sad case, that after the last, hostile and very negative slating and calling of, primary Roland, then indirectly at committee members that turn the tide. Indeed the ardour cooled of, naturally, knowing that they were next in line for unfair abuse. Whilst initially it was the case that in order to get the P.O.B up and running, that committee member would remain a secret, this of course was to have altered! Of course that was to have been the case! Negativity and egoistic of blatant self-importance by some - And you know who they were – let the committee members realise that they didn’t relish, nor feel; any need to be publically abused. Again this was fundamentally why Roland was so adamant in staying anonymous first of. Further, of course there was nothing to hide! Nothing untoward to have been happening, for there wasn’t anything to be achieved or gained! Indeed being open and above board at all times would have a must to proceed as most you all realised. Yet whilst most appreciated and understood that fact, and more importantly why, the P.O.B. committee was maligned, unfairly called, and many were the - though rather silly – scenarios being put forward. Yes very detrimental, and soul destroying for those only wishing to help. If not so sad and costly to our sport perhaps, the stupidities put forward were laughable, This in it’s self of course only strengthen the very reason whilst the committee needed, at the offset, to have remained anonymous. Yes! Unbelievably to protect them from the very ones they were trying in vain to help, besides any unwanted and personal interest the R.S.P.B Let me assure you all, it was a very long and arduous task, with much time spent putting forward ideas, and how best to proceed. There was much debating, time consuming efforts put forward All being made and done on behalf of the ‘Fanciers’ cause. Yes a cause to try and help in our’ plight against these constant aerial killers. So those that are responsible, and you know who you are, take a bow. Yes, for once again you have with your endeavours, shot down another effort in regards us helping ourselves. Yes, you stood up! Then bleated and cat – called with prolonged negativities, made only for own ego’s and whims of self-important. To what ends? Only you yourselves have any inkling as to that. So well done, you achieved your aim. Yes you made very well known, and genuine members of the committee believe it was a waste of time to stand up, to go any further on the fancier’s behalf! Stand up! Take you’re acclaimed round of applause. Yet I am to say the least a mite disappointed, and angry, yes, angry that you can cause this happening and believe you have done ‘Right by the Fanciers’ You are not worth taking all the abuse aimed at those trying to help, striving to put forward a worthwhile, genuine case etc. on your behalf. Yes well done. Indeed the RSPB must be laughing at us once again, though fortunately at Roland only. So the P.O.B. has folded. Now monies have been returned or not cashed. Those that bought the birds off of Albear, where again no cheques have been cashed as they are fully aware, Albear asks that you send the monies / cheques to the Help the Heroes fund’ which he endorses and agrees with. For those genuine fanciers, and there are many, it only remains to say from us all, sorry! Yes we are all so very sad that it has had to turn out this way. The irony is though, that all committee members wanted come out and be known. Yes every single one of them! Yet the unbelievable hostile, subtly put over of course, did nothing but to prove Roland right in his determination to hold back a little longer to see ‘How the wind blows’ before letting all and sundry know who they were and to be open to ridicule. Yes they didn’t believe for a moment how vindictive and ugly some could be against those just trying to help! Persuas

Some he puts Persil in their bath, for the Busearts as it washes whiter and it shows. Daz for the Delbars... and rings on the logans ;D ;D ;D Mind suppose a coloured plastic ring would save on the dettergent lol.... Just joshing :-/

I believe the idea is for them not to be rung either.

The P.O.B. delegation would like to up date you all on our progress. Though it may seem slow moving, it is certainly vibrant and busy behind the scène with results are starting to show. We are of the opinion that a little from many is better than a lot from a few, especially the grass roots of our fanciers; whom we are only too aware have been for so long the actual backbone of the fancy. Indeed too often the very sauce of much funding. Sadly, in this joint cause, to benefit every fancier in the U.K. we again seek his or her help. Make no mistake we will be pursuing bigger and more able concerns profusely. Others whom take a little revenue from all of us on a regular basis, we will chase with an ardour; feeling a little is due coming back to help us with this cause I.e. our B.O.P. plight; remembering that with out the fancier some would have been less well of. That if we don’t get this right, there won’t be any fanciers, certainly not as we know it today, to take any cash from! Of course we realise that many have in the past contribute to the ‘Fancy’ both individually and their’ concerns. Also many may well be new concerns that actually owe us very little in real terms, but it is again in all of ours interests to help keep this sport afloat for without question the B.O.P. plight is our biggest menace ever! The matter of a P.O.B. ‘Website’ name has been bought. We have been fortunate to raise a little cash between the Committee, and now a couple of sales bodes well, and not forgetting the kind offer from the O.A.P. Now the task here is to formulate much of what are our needs are and what to be said, to the fancy and public alike. Whilst we certainly don’t want to be ‘Bleating’ though we do need a wide and cross section of both pigeon fanciers and public alike. - Again as with the monetary of many. We are endeavouring to be forthright and concise, feeling this approach will hit home quicker and make a better, more lasting impact. Yes we are scouring articles, books. Magazines, many web pages, plus other organisations with the same goals, if for different reasons. We will only use what we have obtained permission of to repeat or use to stay lawful. However we constantly seek any worthwhile thoughts or material constantly, so please feel free to Email me Persuas with any thoughts or material in this regards. I am pleased to inform that a donation has been given to the P.O.B of £200. this was by an O.A.P. He stated he believed in our cause, and hoping it isn't too late for us all. He further stated he wishes it to stay anominous. We of course we will respect his wishes in this regards. So on be half of the P.O.B. that you very much inded, and of course it is most appreciated. Firstly, on behalf of the P.O.B. board, I would like to convey our thanks to both Grasshopper, and now Albear, for selling their pigeons. This generosity will help in raising funds; much needed funds, in our fight in controlling B.O.P. Much work and discussion, and much needed, are ongoing in this regards and a bulletin will be posted shortly in these regards. Thank you once again both Grasshopper and Albear for your kindness, it is most appreciated. We welcome any input in regards our combine plight of Hawks and B.O.P. Please address any constructive idea and thoughts to me. Everything will be looked at and where applicable, acted up on, always in regards of the best interest of all fanciers. Persuas
