  2. i think so topped the fed with white grizzels and pure whites have found tho they come better as 2 year olds on widowhood the kweeker 11 lines do very well for me got to agree with most on here tho for the amount thats in country results are not good enough but can only say the ones i am racing are very good
  3. your right pigeon man we have bought rolands from louella ja mellor and all have bred winners for us but percentage wise we purchased 3 cocks from frank brownley at border lofts all 3 have bred 1st prize winners plus 2 of them 1st federation winners but then again i think frank got john and alex mellor involved when he purchased them from rolands
  4. started racing rolands in 2008 performed very well for me cross really well with my frank sheader soontjens
  5. going very well mate culled of 2006 with streptococcus the wing muscle desease my ex partner decided to buy some roland janssensfor me to race and him to sell afew to get his money back then a very good friend of mine arthur billups loaned me his stock birds these were soontjens frank sheader lines won 9 1st topped fed last 3 yb races to be fair some rolands amongst these wins also but yes very pleased with soontjens after some good advice from the lads on here thinking about crossing them
  6. thanks for your imput lads i asked the question because we have spent a lot of money on them and as yet schools out on them raced them for first time last year had five 1st with them also topping doncaster fed but same birds on widowhood this year havent preformed as good as our soontjens but most of you think they would be better crossed maybe thats the way to go cheers

  11. well said stuart by the way ask them who gave them permision to give our money away after puting subs up next year due to lack of funds
  12. dont want to get into a argument about the value of eye sign but afriend of mine a few years ago was sent to hospital by his doctor to see a specialist that specialist was a iridologist who pin pointed where my friends problem was so the surgon could operate the human eye can depict many things such as inteligence why not in our birds is this what the eye sign man sees of course many more things have to be in place to make a champion but they may be telling us to put two eys of inteligence together and you have half a chance they would own up not to know everything but do we know enough to completley knock thier theories
  13. years ago the label on a milton bottle used to say if you are going on holiday a broad you can drink the water if you put milton in first and leave for half an hour these may not be the exact words but but what it was trying to say was it steralized the water
  14. great post i dont like the thought of growing old but i wouldnt change growing up in the sixties great music beatles etc the start of flavoured crisps caramac chocolate lion bars etc yes lads fantastic days and just a thought no bloody ybs
  15. unless im wrong isnt there a little bleach in milton used to steralise babies bottles about 2 percent i think
  16. good point roland but i wouldnt want to go in for nothing three pounds would be fair but if any organisation that wants to run shows etc and the revenue on the door doesnt cover the cost of the hall you dont strain to give to charity unless you want an obe or knighthood remember its me and you that gives the money anyway this may be contraversial not against giving to charity often do myself and i do think the rpra do a good job but they musnt loose sight of what the few members they have left require
  17. why did they change the price for pensioners at blackpool show making us pay full price i suppose its the hire of the winter gardens the answer is dont give it all away to charity help us a little add this to double subs next year and you have a failing system not many of us left beware and before anyone jumps on me not everyone has loads of money
