on sunday morning my 10yr old was playing at home for his football club,he went to header the ball, and was kicked full on in the face. his front 2 perment teeth was knocked back in to his mouth just showing the roots.we took him to leeds lgi and was there for four hours as they were busy, they xrayed him and kept up waitin for a long time.eventually we got to see a nurse/doc who took a look at my son and said "it looks worse than what it is?" and then said "il see if the surgeon has time to see him" in which she came back and said they cant do anything and we need to see a dentist,so they gave us sum anti biotics and sent us packing........my son was still bleeding and could not eat or drink because he could not open his mouth or swallow.i was fuming as u could imagine,i tried my best to get in touch with a dentist but on a sunday that was never gonna happen,so i decided to drive to a hospital in wakefield called pinderfields, soon as i went they took him in and looked at it,telling me we would have to wait for a surgeon,i waited 3 hours for this guy to come down and look, eventually he did....after alot of injections and my boy screaming in pain the surgeon managed to pull the teeth back in to place and glued a metal wire to support them,my boy is probably gonna loose his front teeth but wont know as it can take up to six months to see if the teeth will live or die,he sat he now, with his mouth in pain,he cant open it still but alot of the swelling has gone down, ive had to tape straws in to plastic bottles just so we can feed him and so he can drink,i feel so sorry for the kid,and as a parent it killed me because he was in such pain and i couldnt do a dam thing, its gonna be a long process with alot of time of school, and many trips to the dentist to get this sorted,i just cant beleive the leeds lgi turned us away and said they couldnt deal with it
