5 weeks ago i sent my pigeons for the 1st time to a race ,Selby was that race, I'm new to the sport all my pigeons were mixed bred by a hobby flyer im not complaining they looked good birds they never raced as young because they were late bred, Any way I'll cut to the chase i lost 5 birds from 65 mile and 4 filterd home but 1 blue cock was in race time 3mins out of the winner but he wouldnt trap i think he'd of took the race ,Now i've got more birds and a good young setup but this blue cock stands out leaps and bounds i keep him with the young birds because he shows no interest in paring to a hen and prefers the young bird loft hes clapping round the sky and flying out for an hour on his own he looks like hes begging for the basket would i loose him from 183 mile melton mowbry your thoughts please. and why you think he wont pare up
