***JIM MCBEATH MEMORIAL MID WEEK OPEN RACE*** The 2023 memorial race for my grandad was a great success and I can now confirm some details for the 2024 race. RACEPOINT - HEXHAM DATES - 13/08/24 basketing for 14/08/24 MARKING - ARMADALE CLUB HOUSE The race again is open to: • ALMOND VALLEY • NORTH WEST • CENTRAL • GLASGOW • LANARKSHIRE • SOUTH LANARKSHIRE This year, I’m pleased to say the limit will be raised to allow 20 pigeons per fancier @ £1 per pigeon. Thanks to the support and sponsorship I received last year, I was able to pay out 100% of takings to 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners and I’d love to be able to do the same this year. This covered things such as fuel, the transporter and the driver. I’ll personally be contributing £50 alongside Bonnyside Engineering who I’m pleased to say will also be covering fuel costs again this year.
