  1. done very well, top prize winner, the reason I do it this way, is by the time I get home from work, I am limited in time, b4 basketing,
  2. I have had success with my widowhood team, however on basketing night I just turn over the bowls and let the hens through, I don,t care if they tread :-/ would like to hear others views on my way :-/

  11. Well, on going out to the lofts this morning, what a change from yesterday :-/ as it was reasonably calm, with a little wind but cold, but no SNOW :-/ is this SUMMER or an April Fool????????
  12. after 5days if you hold the egg upto a light, you should see blood lines, which indicates it is filled, the birds will dispose of the egg shells, try and not disturb the eggs too often
  13. I purchased birds off Roundo, and can say they have turned out to be crackers, however this will be my first year racing their off spring
  14. The cock bird will attempt to mate with any spare hens around. 19 days after the first egg is laid, the youngsters should hatch out Good Luck

  18. I am very fortunate as I have the fifer who looks after my birds when I am away However I also look after our clubs secretaries birds when he flies off a couple of times a year. It,s all about helping each other out

  22. I found this video quite distressing :-/ When are the RSPB going to wake up and act, we need to stop giving them money from Blackpool, as I believe we make an annual donation, please correct me if I am wrong :-/
