Missed oppurtunity, OPHS held their YB sale today and despite some really quality birds there was only a handfull of buyers, resulting in some real bargains.
There was two lovely YB's from a National flyer in Congleton which I really would liked to have bought but with my young birds just starting to hatch felt it woulld have been too risky to have them on their own. my loss.
But you could not fault the excellent work by the main organiser Jason Phillips and Steve Stone, assisted by auctioneer Alan Houldsworth.
In my opinion its not the winners that deserve all the plaudits but workers of our sport who enable the winners to compete, I applaud you Jason a real credit to the sport.
