  2. Hello everybody, I have made an invention for an easy drum conversion which I will start selling at the Blackpool show. I have made a short video and would like to give you guys a preview. You can find the video at: I am very interested in your reaction! Regards, Gerwin Basch
  3. I don't know if I am putting this message on the right board, but I am still unable to post in the wanted section for some reason. I am looking for old clocks and old paintings with racing pigeons. If anyone has something like that, please let me know by PM and maybe we can meet in Blackpool. Regards, Gerwin
  4. I only have a few converted to thimbleless at this moment, but I am working on something new to convert all existing clocks easily and cheap. The prices vary from 85 pounds (T3 with thimbles) to 180 (TS3, thimbleless).
  5. Hi Ribble, Yes, I have T3's for sale in Blackpool. Serviced and with new batteries.
  6. I do them, but you will have to send it to the Netherlands or have someone bring it to my Blackpool stand. Gerwin
  7. I am sorry if I did this wrong. I am new to the forum and thought this was the right place to answer. I will learn...
  8. I am one of these guys selling T3's for £100 quid fully serviced and new 10 yr batteries. If I sell you a clock you can be sure they are serviced and have a new battery inside, but I also give guarantee on the clocks. If you buy a cheap clock "as is" from someone, especially if it is a foreigner who only sells a few clocks which are mostly uncleaned, you always have the risk of buying a bad clock or a clock that is not approved in the UK. Gerwin
  9. As a new member I will first introduce myself. My name is Gerwin Basch and I live in the Netherlands. My hobby is restoring and collecting pigeon clocks. My grandfather started selling pigeon clocks right after WW2. In the Netherlands there were only a few clocks left, so he started buying them in Belgium and selling them in the Netherlands. Later he made many inventions to improve pigeon clocks, but unfortunately he died very young. My father than took over the company and later became sole agent for Benzing in the Netherlands. I have studied watchmaker, and worked a year in the Benzing factory but started a company with plastic cards, www.unipas.nl As a hobby I started restoring old pigeon clocks and later I started collecting. At this moment I have in my pigeon clock museum about 250 different clocks from all over the world. Most of the time however my museum travels. This year I will be at the historical stand at the Olympiade in Dortmund where I am invited by the German Union. Also, every year I have my own stand in Blackpool where I show different clocks every year. To keep my hobby affordable I also sell clocks and do service to Junior clocks. People who have met me in Blackpool will know what I am talking about. I think I have a very good name in this business :-) I hope I will find some new clocks through this forum, and maybe I will be able to help some people who have problems with there clocks. If you want to see some old clocks, you can always visit my website www.pigeonclocks.com Regards, Gerwin
