since i could get in the loft have a picture of me at 4 years old holding my all time fav bird GB 84 T51251,(Checker pied cock) who i rememer winning from nantes when i was about 7 and still have a vivid memory of him arriving home, he lived till he was 15 years old at my friends loft. 1st & 3rd club, was really pleased with the winner, he was a late breed out of our best cock it was the last bird he breed in 5 years he only ever filled 6 eggs,2 cocks and 4 hens, now both the cocks have won, the bird who was 3rd was also 3rd last week so we know he is trying. well happy 11 out of 11 first 10 were about 1o mins then the last 1 was 2 hours later, always the one aint there

Thanks for all the intrest guys i did try to show my daughter how to hold them but she kind of thought it would be better to hold her like that,

i am sure she will come round then you wont be able to stop here,

that is great i aint up to letting them let them out yet but when i am in the loft they follow me in and love messing with the babbies which i dont mind as it helps to get the babbies tame, It gives me some great memories seeing the kids like that as i was just the same and have always been intrested in to them, and having some great memorries of the birds while i was growing up, my dad says when i was 6 i wondered off when we were on holiday in great yarmouth, and he found me among pigeons, feeding the street birds, (true story). If your son is like me he will never grow out of the colours, because i havent you only need to see my birds at my house.
