Sound will point it south then leaving me room for a little stock loft pointing to the east in future lol

I'm in the midlands, England will be racing from the south road, which way am I best positioning my loft I've got two options south or east ? I was going go with facing south because that's the way the birds should be coming from but I believe east is the way the sun rises ? So would be hitting the loft from first thing in the morning. To optimise space in the garden I don't have space to face the loft south-east.

Hi im in the market for a new racing loft with three sections. I will be flying on ETS.What are the pros and cons of having a corridor and aviary compared to having sliding doors with traps attached to them ?

Hiya michael i have only just read your comments as for the last day or so i have been on and off here and ukpigeon racing replying the pm's of some sound lads who have been helping me out with advice and pointing me in the right direction. My name is james im from stoke on trent i have never heard of browny666 and havent owned a pigeon for well over ten years when as a teenager i had a brief stint in the sport in partnership with my Grandad. Inbetween then and now i used to run dogs and was a member of a forum to do with that and it is nice to see there is paranoid people in every forum/sport as that is how your comments have come across lol no offence taken though mate everyone makes mistakes lol

Cheers mate what you have said is worth taking into account and yes i imagine getting some stock i would be a touch cheaper but i dont think im going to have the space for stock birds just yet i have give it some thought over the last week or two though. The only reason i want to start getting my young bird team together in january is because i plan on getting the loft up asap before christmas shopping starts lol and dont think i will be able to see it sitting empty until spring as its only september and im keen to get started already haha but your right in what you said next year will just be about getting a team of young birds together and getting them through ready to race the OB card in 2018

Thanks for replys, are tumley lofts any good ? I have been looking online at there jan aardens... i do know a few locals who fly pigeons as i had a brief stint in the sport flying in the local club as a teenager... but its not in my nature to start bothering them to buy birds off them etc.
