will just rehome the two new chicks as the other one is already flying around with the parents. What age would be the best to move them on? Could they go now or should I wait until they are hard penned?

They do it every so often. I love watching them but do not want a flock of them. They are quite tame although they will not take food from my hand as I do not handle them at all. But they let you get really close as long as you do not try to touch as does the new chick.

I was asked to look after two pigeons about 5yrs ago for two weeks and the guy never came back. After a while I opened up the aviary roof and they have come and gone as they please ever since. Not knowing anything about pigeons I wonder if anyone can tell me what they are. The circle around and every so often they do 360 degrees backwards rolls, sometimes even in unisom. This year they hatched and raised one chick and that is out with them but now they have two more chicks that eyes have just opened, so I need to know what they are so I can rehome them.
