firstly i would like too say a big thankyou too mealybar, who took the time too put my pics of Rachel on here for me., as i didn't have a clue how too do it. I would also like too thank everyone who have so far answered and offered there help. Whether it be birds or something too raffle it is very much appreciated. Will keep u updated with Rachels progress: Rachel has Doctor out today her breathin is bad and a terrible smell comin from her throat. She has an infection in her lungs. Hi just an update for u all AMTRAK Grrrrr Yes they eventually picked my bird up only 3 days late lol Brought him up too Edinburgh and u never gonna believe this let him escape so after a week of phoning them , them not turning up too collect him etc they bloody well let him escape . Sadly he hasn't made it home yet.

I am looking for help too raise money to send a 2yr old little girl Rachel and her family too Disney-Land Paris. I am hopin too have a pigeon sale and lookin too see if anyone would have any birds too donate. Please try and help. I will tell u a bit about Rachel , her family her illness and why i want too help. Rachel is 2 yr old she has a twin brother and also an older brother. She has beautiful red wavy hair and the most beautiful eyes, she is like a little angel. Rachel suffers from an illness called " Metachromatic Leukodystrophy " MLD for short. MLD is a recessive genetic defect that sadly there is no cure for. It is so rare that only 1in 40,000 are effected by it. Rachel being the first case in Scotland for about 30-40 years. There r 3 types of MLD Late Infanltile Juvenile Onset Adult Onset Rachel has Late Infantile: normal development the first 6-18 months then followed by a progressive nervous system involvment: Loses previously gained abilities Loss of mental ability Blindness Impaired swallowing usually requiring a G-Tube directly into the digestive system Paralysis Dementia Convulsions Blindness Rigidity uncontrolled muscle tightness painful cramp loss of all meanin contact with all around about Rachel has already lost the ability too walk She also suffers bad muscle cramps and rigidity Also as u can c in her picture she has a feeing tube inserted in her nose,she goes into hospital in October to get the G-Tube inserted directly into her digestive system This beautiful little red head with her big eyes and beautiful smile has been through so much pain already in her short life. And still has more too face. Of an illness that Doctors don't know enough about because it is so rare. And which will ineveitably end in the death of Rachel. Can you help raise money too send Rachel, Owen , Dean and her Mummy & Daddy too Disneyland Paris I am hopin too hold a pigeon sale also sellin on here as webmaster suggested. Well once again it is another day . I was thinkin my bird would get picked up today, but after speakin with someone from Amtrak it doesn't look likely as that area was done early this morning and the driver is at the other end of town. The ppl that have pigeon phoned too say if it wasn't picked up today they are goin too let it go as this is now a week that they have had it in a cardboard box. Telling Amtrak this was a waste off time as they say they can't make them hold on too it till they go pick it up . CHEEK they have . >

Pentland Hills Fed are holding their Annual Open Race today from Newark Pentland Fed , Midlothian Fed & Traprain You had too nominate your birds a month before the race. 179 birds entered. Flyin for over £4,200 prize money & over 10,000 in pools. Liberated at 7.40am No Wind at the race point. Good Luck too all who have entered.

Up until recently we have never had a problem with Amtrak. I got a fone call on thursday lunch time from a Food Merchants in County Durham too say they had one of our birds. I phoned Amtrak too arrange for bird too be picked up . They said it was maybe too late for thursday they couldn't pick up friday as they don't keep live stock over weekend. So it would then be monday before they could pick up . Amtrak said they would phone me back let me know when bird would be getting picked up , still waiting on the call . I called the place that have pigeon and explained too them , they said they would put bird in a box and feed & water him. The pigeon was not picked up on thursday , so it would be monday & we would get him home tuesday. Well monday came and around 3 o'clock i recieved a call from the people who have the pigeon sayin there was no sign off Amtrak. I phoned too be told that they would have too rebook him and it would now be tuesday before they could pick bird up. Well yes u have guessed today is tuesday and once again they have forgotten about the bird . So it will now be tomorrow ( wednesday ) before they can get him. I am raging and don't think they who have bird are very happy . I just hoping when 2 moro comes they do not forget about it again. They charge us enough to get pigeons brought back & this is the kind off service u get for your money. Well fingers crossed it's like that song by Ronan Keaton " If tomorrow never comes " lol

Our birds were at Scotch Corner . Birds got up at 9.15 We still waitin on 32, only had 2 reported. 1 in Leeds ands the other only up road from us .Bad returns for all i think
