Whats the advantage of breeding early?
waltzer replied to demolition man's topic in Breeding, Strains & Families
more corn to pay for as from what my dad and brother have said there second and third round young have been there better birds ,but now a lot of young are on the widowhood system and more mature for the longer races -
building an team of sprinters
waltzer replied to john bingham's topic in Breeding, Strains & Families
i would start to look closer to home to see what breed all the people are winning with in your own fed and section year in and out and go get some off them get some off there best and start from there then start your own family ,as most pleople any were has the best birds and are willing to sell them so only you no if you are getting what you are paying for you could pay £££££ for sh@@e from some studs etc i also think any bird can be good in the right hands it is all to do with loft management and from the right stock :)some birds dont fly that good up here in northumberland compaired to down south as i think weather has alot to do with it ,at a moot last year wall lunt and green said they dont start to train there widowhood cocks till its about 19 deg well it takes awile to hit that some times up here and by the time they start to race we have had about 3,4 races in the cold -

yes i might but it does not say in the grant that they are not to be taken away from that area to others and not to be used with other clubs it can be taken any ware thats why im asking if i could get one for nothing and they no my name address and loft no there should be no problem as they no were it is in that combine
-
we dont get are's till friday from the shop i think are mate gets his on a thursday up here in the newcastle sent to him
-
hi all i no this may be cheeky to ask but if a club has a lottery grant for ets and all them systems are not been used by the members do they have to be made available to any other person who needs one and should not be kept as a spare in the club as the grant covers every one in the sport .if so has any one got one for me as im just starting out and would love one pmsl yours in sport glen wilkinson
