hi try the National Pigeon Association Uk Website as there are list of breed clubs on there and am sure there will be british Nun Club details
-
I have medium cobby birds the ones you used to see a few years ago and when I came back into modenas I was told my birds were too small and will never do anything,I was amazed at how much the modenas had grown and asked a fancier who was showing at the modena club are you taking the p*ss he went what you mean I went they are far too big for modenas he went know thats how they have to be now I just looked and shook my head they were the same size of a king maybe bigger, I now have two teams a ones just a bit bigger than my others but all the rest are the old type and the ones that I do the winning with mostly are the old type because the new types dont seem to ball like they used to and are getting very course I have got the old standard in my head and wont follow suit, a few top fanciers are fetching the size down its like fashion comes and goes

As far as I am aware you can't order the feathered world magazine from a shop there are only available on subscription from the feathered world you have to pay for 6 or 12 months in advance and they get delivered to your home
-
I have noticed that also about the photos that are posted in here but only a true fancier would know that they were no good I also would think if buying anything so what you are saying is true very true
-
Yes they may be able to get rings for any club you want but they are no good so you are just wasting your money as the rings that are bought from clubs are all registered to the correct owner and rings are usually checked as well

The quality of birds that kashmir lofs have got for sale are very very poor quality, ask any top show man. These are pigeons that we dispose of normally, not worth a cracker.

If anyone is wanting to obtain good quality stock for showing, get in touch with the npa, they will point you in the right direction for good birds.Nobody has to go to dealers for pigeons, because us in the fancy worled are only too happy to help out.Dont get ripped off by people selling rubbish no one else wants.Dont for get type into your pc national pigeon accociation uk.
-
Your right there he has the best birds around and does very very well with them have seen him at alot of the shows I go to
-
I can imagine you can get some good stock from around the show circuit or local clubs depending on the breeds you want to keep the fanciers sometimes are only too happy to help out I have just been looking at the site and personally I wouldn't touch none of them
-
I would never buy any birds from a non fancier or someone I didnt know you dont know what disease you are gonna pick up the birds may look ok to the eye and birds that are sold at auction are only birds what fanciers dont want and have faults with them and only a true fancier would pick up on these faults its these people that go round selling pigeons that have not been shown or and have faults they think they know everything about anything they give us fanciers a bad name

no they wouldnt have coloured flights as it is hard to cover white they are defo crosses the first looks like a lahore cross I am only saying this with the saddle on the back its not a dutch tumbler cross I maybe wrong I know some fanciers are trying the lahore cross , the leg in the first picture is long not low like a westy the second is just a basic tumbler cross
