  10. Thanks for the interest shown All birds are now sold Linda
  11. Hi We have no pics at the mo as Mark lost the camera in the fire. The birds are mainly cheq's, cheq pied's, blues and blue pied's. They are bred down from Donkere Witpen Daniel, Majestic x Princess85, Schone Vale Daniel, Toey also from various Tony Marden, Ian Stafford and some Dean Pallett blood.
  12. I am selling 17 Staff Van Reet YB's on behalf of Superstar (Mark) who as you know does not have access to a comp at the mo. Birds will be ready in approx 14 days. They are the second round from his top stock birds. All the parents have bred Card Winners in both Club and Fed. All birds will come with Pedigree's but patience will be required due to the unforseen circumstances Mark is in. £20 each plus carriage. Please pm me if you require any further info. Linda
  13. I do agree with you there yearling Vermine have to be controlled, I tried first hand to clear rats from where i used to live humanely, it didnt work and I had to resort to putting bait down (somethine I don't like or really agree with) but rats kill for the sake of it and not just for survival. My post was my personal opinion, I didnt have the intention of getting on the wrong side of anyone as I beleive we are all entitled to an opinion, I respect your post and even though I may not agree with it I would never say it was wrong because that was your personal opinion and views. Sorry if i offended it was not meant that way
  14. Yep If like me you are a true animal lover you love em no matter what they are. But I have to agree with me totally. A dog (or any other animal for that matter) has a right to live as he was intended just as much as we do, and if it was intended to have next to no tail it would be born ike it. In the same way the animals that are harrassed by the dogs have a right to live in peace and not be hounded, they have just as much right as a human to live in its natural habitat without it being torn apart and sacred out of his head. This is the same no matter what it is, whether if be Rabit, Hare, Fox, Badger or the many other animals killed by dogs, the dogs are not at fault its the humans.

    im back

Hi mac Nice to see you back and all up and running ok again Linda
  16. I totally agree with you Tammy, I know some may say I am slightly biased as Superstar (Mark) is my best mate but some may say I see how things really are for him at face value. He does get to hear whats going on on here as I phone him daily and he often asks me to log on and let him know whats happening. I will pass on all these thoughtful messages to Mark Linda
  17. I can see you are doing your best to help Superstar mac and I have kept him informed and he was so chuffed that somebody cared. For those of you who don't know him he is always willing to help anyone he has helped out a few on here and they have always been well pleased. He lost his house and everything in it including pets 3 days before Xmas. All his pigeon stuff was kept in the house and so you can imagine the value of that was rather high. All he had left was his birds hw was with them when to fire started as he was just moving them to another loft. Anyone willing to help in Superstar's plight leave a message here or contact mac as I know Superstar would be very appreciative and I know just how down this usually jokey happy man really is. Thanks again Linda
  18. We was told the same thing, when we ordered it we was told it would be delivered in 3/4 weeks, I was chasing it up 2 or 3 times a week and it finally arrived after 9 weeks. The loft is fantastic, but I would rather be told 9 weeks from the start as we had to move birds pull the old loft down and prepare it for the new loft. Thuis was a Blakes loft and a mate who had one delivered a few weeks before was told the same 3/4 weeks and had to wait 8 weeks. Not good on the birds at all

Hope you all have a great time (before the boozing starts) lol and don't forget to let us who can't be there know how it went and I hope to join you all next year.
  20. He's coping (just) the pigeons have been a great help at this time as he has them to keep his mind occupied and off all the bad stuff at times. Its proving to be a long haul though as everything shuts over Xmas and the New Year and that includes them that deal with the damage of House Fires. I speak to Mark daily and see him often and I pass on all the comments on here and he is well thankful for the kindness of the words and gestures, they really do mean a lot at this time. As of today though there has been very little change in anything in regards to the house. I will keep you updated. If any of you notice Mark sign in it is only me accessing his account from time to time to see if he has any PM's
  21. I saw Superstar at the weekend and told him about all the kindness being shown to him in this thread and he was overwhelmed to say the least. At least he still has the birds to keep him occupied through these tough times. Linda

    NEW LOFT ON ORDER

I hope you are as pleased with the new loft when you get it as we are with ours. Had it delivered a couple weeks ago from Blakes, and no probs at all with it. Don't bank on the delivery date though as we was told 2/3 weeks and with chasing it up 2 or 3 times a week it still took 9 weeks. A mate had one a few weeks before and his was 8 weeks. Can't fault the loft at all though great value for money.
  23. Wet and windy here, and if the wind don't stop knocking my door I might have to tie me dog up, he thinks someone is at the door. Who said Border Collies were intelligent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
