Mike, I am not Mark Jones (thought you was making this anonymous so why drag Mark into this) I am Linda as my name states I do not hide behind a name. As for me not posting for a long time your right, after all I did have a heart attack and it makes you realise that life is for living and not sitting at a computer screen and bickering. To be honest, after reading your posts in this thread I believe that you owe Mark an apology as not one has he uttered a word, or put words into peoples mouths. Wixse up Mike, everyone wants the sport of pigeon racing to last so why do you continually cause resentment among fanciers.

Why are you making somebody else's situation your business Mike, like you say you are no longer a member of the club so what has it to do with you. I haven't been on here for a while now but you was spouting off when I went and now I come back to you spouting off again. I go to their meetings and I hear all the crap you keep coming out with, I remember speaking to you at Aberdare a couple years ago, and your words were, "these birds are not a patch on mine" not what I have heard from other people who have been to you lofts.

Mark was well touched by all the concern and caring everyone on Pigeon Basics has shown him, to receive this donation was much appreciated as no one can really imagine what it is like to lose everything. His family obviously had to be a top priority but now with your help he has been able to make a start on getting his pigeon stuff (as you can tell I'm not hot on the right words) up together. Hopefully he will now be in a position to get back on here very soon. Mark truly is a great bloke and always one for helping anyone out if need be. Thanks to everyone who both bought or sold birds in the auction and thanks to the Webmaster and his team for the work that goes on behind the scenes.

To be honest I enjoy the FRIENDLY banter (which is what it is) some times a thread gets a bit heavy or long winded but a bit of cheery banter along the way keeps me for one interested in readying the next posts.
