  3. thats big loss for a small team mate , i was just thinking for next year as this is my first season with young birds , for next year if there is anything left i was looking to race 12 widow cocks , it just seems to be most people at the top fly big teams , the only other option i have is round about 12 cocks & 12 hens but then this becomes a time issue

  8. ive been putting my young birds in the crates every saturday feed and water them then turn them back in the loft about 8 pm they seem quite happy with this

  10. cheers No1, and that was a good read owen the only thing that worries me is yeast infection, no nothing about it or symptoms of it ,so if i add one day aweek of cider vinegar would this combat that

  17. cheers Grasshopper Lofts ive got them at twenty mile now , i was going to jump them up to 30 mile and keep them there till my first race which for me is going to be 1st of August which is wetherby 65 mile to me , there is one this weekend and the weekend after from the same race point but there not going to ready as they have YBS now so im going to hope there well on there way again soon

  21. hi all is it possible to get YBS twice in the same young birds , ive had it once in my young birds now i noticed 40% of em were holding there corn yesterday and and being sick again the first time was about 3wks ago cheers for any info

  24. cheers for that mate i thought i had got over it once a couple of weeks ago i noticed a few of the birds holding corn back but dint see any being sick so gave some belgamco seen to ok been training well and now i see them holding corn back and being sick so thought i would use amoxicillin this is only started today thanks for your reply mate
  25. how long did you leave them on for mate , the dosage says one teaspoon per gallon is that a heap teaspoon of flat teaspoon wot is your dosage mate thanks rye
