I can assure you it will not be forever rot it will be a phosphorus deficiency sorry about my spelling on previous post .your pigeons will lose feathers from their chest every time they start feeding young ones that's why it comes back every year for youmake sure you give plenty of phosphorus before breeding this will solve your problem

top vet told me he's only seen 2 cases feather rot in his lifetimeit's rarer than a chocolate teacup
