Wouldnt it be great if the post originator could delete not relative posts (including this one of course) Most of the posts on this "Sale Item" have no relevance to the item\items for sale, instead just members having digs as each other... Different Post \ Same story... Postmaster : please give us a sale \ auction section where members cannot hijack threads... (including this one...)

Im not a newbie. Ive used the site for almost a year now... But it wouldnt take any new member long to notice a pattern in the way the sales posts go.

Why do people insist on hijacking sale threads all the time? There are plenty of sections on this brilliant website which allow people to voice their opinions and recommendations, but every time I read a sales thread we are subject to : 1. People not reading the full sales advertisement and then asking silly questons! What has he bred? Why are you selling? When it quite clearly states the reasons already! 2. People mocking the owner for selling birds! If you dont want to buy the pigeon for various reasons e.g. too pricey or you dont think its good value, then fair enough! thats your opinion! your entitled to it! I think the best way of giving your opinion on the sale of a bird is in the bidding! If You dont want to bid, then dont! but leave the rest of us to make our own decisions, and dont discredit the seller! Quite clearly this pigeon is of class breeding and has a proven record! How much would a pigeon with this CV cost if you purchased it direct??? A hell of a lot more than 500 I can tell yea (because I have done it)... Maybe pigeonbasics should consider installing a bidding section on the website, and remove the ability for users to attack sellers! Food for thought! KS

Hi Lads & Ladies, I just built a new aviary for the stock birds and I have purchased the Contratex netting off Petron after it was recommended by a friend. It has arrived and Im impressed by the amount of light it allows in. Just a quick question though to anyone else who uses\ has used it. Is there any risk of a cat ripping this wire? Ive cut it with a scissors very handy so if a cat got his claws into it would there be a possibility of it ripping? Any advise or issues to report? many thanks Keith
